Good Musk
I ordered some of the half ounce bottles of this Musk fragrance oil during a sale, and I am really pleased with both how this one and also the Nag Champa one turned out to be. I'm often on the hunt for incense and fantasy musk type scents, and it can be pretty tough to find really good ones. I am really pleasantly surprised at how nice this musk fragrance is. I can hardly smell it within the bottle, but once out of the bottle and in some shea butter, its scent really unfurled. It's a soft and warmly powdery sort of scent, and so far its aroma potency is holding up decently well while staying soft. This is a really nice improvement from a lot of the musk type fragrance oils I have tried elsewhere. Some others do smell nice, but they are not always exactly "musky" but instead are overblown powdery or even floral, or they are themed musks and so I can't use them to make my own blends, for example if they have citrus in them and such. Sometimes they start off strong and then disappear quickly. This Musk by PR is very simple in its nature and will be great to use blends for a very soft and incense-musky background, and that subtle softness is holding up longer than I am used to expecting.
